Underwater housing
The Gates housing suitable for Arri Alexa Mini, Red Epic/Dragon, Sony F55/5 motion pictures cameras is the state of the art equipment. It is the most reliable underwater camera housing on the market.
The underwater housing with remote follow focus and HDSDI surface monitoring for DP/focus puller, can be rigged without follow focus if needed.
Camera Control Unit
CCU together with hand held controller enables you to follow focus from above the water. CCU base station also allows you to power supply the camera from the surface as well as keep an eye on humidity level inside the underwater housing.
Underwater LED Lighting System
The Underwater LED Lighting System is a custom made solution that combines over 15 years of Aquafilm’s experience in underwater cinematography with innovative technology and the design of German based company Inteca GmbH. Our Underwater LED Lighting System is a reliable and easy to operate solution dedicated to professional cinematographers. The System’s modular and flexible design gives a number of setup options in order to meet even one’s most sophisticated needs.
Scubacam Splash Bag
Splash bag for ARRI Alexa Mini/LF, SONY Venice and RED cameras. This is a sealed unit that allows easy access to a camera while ensuring full protection from rain or other wet conditions. Splash bags are not immersible and should be used for surface use only. For camera protection while filming underwater see our hard case camera housing.
Splash bag can be use hand-held or mounted on a crane. Camera focus control as well as Start/Stop can be achieved with the ARRI WCU-4 system either wirelessly or by using 30m feed cable.
Diver Recall System / PA Underwater Speaker
Communication between director and underwater actors is crucial. Lubell Labs manufactures the World’s Most Powerful Underwater PA speakers. Wireless Communication System
Communication between underwater camera operator and above-water director or DoP is crucial. In order to do that we offer wireless Underwater Communication System. With our Aquacom® STX-101M Surface Transceiver, RX-100 Buddy Phone® receiver and MKII-BUD Buddy Phone® transceivers complete with Interspiro Divator full-face masks, the dive supervisor will have total communication control with underwater camera crew.
Underwater Monitoring System
